We are so glad to have you come visit us. Our church family is friendly and welcoming to all.
What to Expect on Sunday Mornings
Come As You Are
One of the things you’ll notice about Barrie Free Methodist is that we are a very diverse church. You’ll feel right at home wearing anything from jeans and t-shirts, to your Sunday best!
Enter via Livingstone Street East or Cundles Road East. We have plenty of parking and we are wheelchair accessible.
Our service starts at 10 AM but we encourage you to come early to allow time to stop by our Visitor Centre, grab a complimentary coffee/tea at the Hebrews Cafe, browse through the foyer, or catch our pre-service slide show in the auditorium. The service lasts about 1 hr and 15 min.
Children & Youth
We have a loving nursery for babies and toddlers, and Sunday School for kids age 3 to grade 8. Kids start out in the service – see below for check-in information.
Our worship includes a mix of contemporary praise & worship songs and traditional hymns. Raised hands, moving to the music, kneeling at the prayer rail, or sitting/ standing quietly in your seat — you are welcome to express yourself in worship as the Spirit leads you. More…
We would love the opportunity to meet you. Pastor Jenn is always available in the auditorium or in the lobby after the service. If you have any questions during your visit, ask one of the friendly folks at our Connection Centre.
Sunday Morning Programs
Children (age 3 – grade 5) start out in the service with their families and then are dismissed into their age appropriate classes for bible stories, fun & crafts. Kids age 3 to grade 5 who are attending Sunday School are required to “check-in” at the main entrance prior to the service.
